On Monday the 25th, Trio Fadolín is playing a free performance at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center, which will include the premiere of a piece called "Yidisher Kontsert" by Yehiel Goyzman, in my arrangement. The piece is an ambitious fusion of klezmer & classical music, written at the turn of the 20th century.

#cello question for #cellists How high are your strings above the fingerboard? on our old cello I measured (to the nearest mm) A5 D11 G10 C7. On a new(ish) cello 7-11-11-10. I'm definitely taking down the A and C strings on this one, but am wondering if the middle strings need to be that much higher, seeing the fingerboard has its own curvature. Buchanan's book only gives measures A4.5 and C7, none for the middle strings.
