Finally viewed a performance of Ravel's La Valse. I have the piano solo, piano duet, and 2 piano 4 hands arrangements, but never had the honor, pianistic mastery or a capable piano partner willing to invest time to perform this work. I've known this piece for over 50 years and it continues to inspire. Was dedicated by Ravel to Johann Strauss II.

🎹 Eleven pianists will take the stage at Mendocino College for the 33rd annual Professional Pianists Concerts later this month.
The two-day event will feature a wide range of styles, from classical and jazz to blues, ragtime and more, with proceeds supporting local music programs and scholarships.
