A jacuzzi was sucked into a suction outlet at a resort in Celle Ligure. The victim is a three-year-old girl who suffered serious injuries. The girl was with her family (foreign tourists) on vacation in Savona.
The alarm was raised around 4:30 PM. The little girl was rescued and transported to the Gaslini Pediatric Hospital in Genoa under code red. Taken care of by the emergency urgency team, she was admitted in guarded condition. The little girl is in stable condition while doctors are conducting investigations. According to initial information, she sustained trauma to her limbs after being trapped in the jacuzzi's suction system.
Military personnel from Croce Rosa of Celle, the 118 ambulance, and the Grifo heliborne rescue service from Albenga, which transported the little girl to the hospital, responded to the scene. Carabinieri of Celle Ligure also intervened at the scene, tasked with reconstructing the exact dynamics of the incident and verifying any responsibility related to the operation of the jacuzzi.
