long shot, but do I know anyone who has a spare set of watch band pins for the #casio #f84w ? (or #f91w , etc) (18mm band, non-spring push through pin with a little groove at one end)
I can just order a set, but it seems ridiculously expensive.
also, digital watch modding folks, what kind of paint do you use for the inside of the crystal? and is there data on different backlight mods people have tried?
It runs on an open source custom firmware called Second Movement and has a custom 92 segment LCD that improves the watch's display/readability. I availed of the accelerometer sensor/add-on board that opens a lot of possibilities.
Oh, and it also has a full RGB LED.

New retro watch daily driver! I'm very happy with my new ยฃ30 Casio "Royale" (AE-1200WH). I might need to swap the battery in 10 years and maybe buy another watch in 30. Now to mod it to my heart's content! And even if I go crazy with mods (titanium + steel body / sapphire glass), it'll still cost only about 1/5 of a top-end Samsung or Apple smartwatch!

As a matter of fact, I just did this red gradient screen mod to my old calculator watch last week 
I modded another Casio watch. This time with a holographic rainbow display that I think looks really cool with the pink casing and band. These things make great gifts and this oneโs a gift for someone really special. I hope she likes it ๐
I came across some stuff online that all the cool kids these days are wearing modded Casio watches and thought ooh I can do that and it would be a cool gift for my brother. And then I found my old Casio calculator watch in a junk drawer and Iโm a cool kid again too. The mods are just simple color gradient screens.
