After two weeks, I finished reading Stephen King's The Stand (1978) [1980 revision because I misremembered when the "Complete and Uncut" edition came out].

Fantastic. I have an idea of what's missing in that edition, but it didn't bother me at all.

Character development was top-notch, his prose is probably the most unique I've ever read. Even if the ending is a bit rushed, it felt thematically consistant.

Looking forward to reading more King.
