The Grateful Dead is the debut studio album by the American rock band the Grateful Dead, released by Warner Bros. Records on March 17, 1967.
Robert Christgau wrote of the album:
One of the year's few supposedly psychedelic LPs that wasn't actually a pop LP (cf. Sgt. Pepper, Forever Changes, Mellow Yellow), the already legendary San Francisco band-collective's debut stood out and stands tall because its boogieing folk rock epitomizes the San Francisco ballroom ethos—blues-based tunes played by musicians who came to rhythm late, expanded so they were equally suitable for dancing and for tripping out... - Wikipedia

Let's Hide Away and Dance Away with Freddy King is a 1961 instrumental album by blues guitarist and singer Freddie King (at the time spelled "Freddy"). Released on King Records, the album contained a number of influential songs and two hit singles, "Hide Away" and "San-Ho-Zay"...
Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, who have covered "Hide Away" and "Heads Up" live on several occasions, specifically cited "San-Ho-Zay" and "Sensation" (sic) as among the Freddie King album tracks that inspired him - Wikipedia

The Grateful Dead, Aoxomoxoa, 1969 on Warner Bros
This was the third studio LP from The Grateful Dead, and was one of the first albums recorded in 16 tracks on an Ampex MM-1000. It was remixed by Garcia and Lesh in 1971. “China Cat Sunflower” and “St. Stephen” remain among my favorite Dead tunes, though I find it hard to get through “What’s Become Of the Baby.”
My copy—via Salem Flea Marketplace—is a 1971 Terre Haute pressing, with the 1971 remix, on green labels but with the W7 logo on the jacket. I’m still on the hunt for a 1969 issue. (It was included in the Warner Bros. Studio Albums box set, and was put on CD in 2019 by Rhino but not vinyl).

If I Could Only Remember My Name is the debut solo album by the American singer-songwriter David Crosby, released on February 22, 1971, by Atlantic Records..
The album went on to achieve cult status and praise from latter-day critics for its austere mood, eclectic improvisation and otherworldly harmony singing. In 2000, it was voted number 156 in the third edition of Colin Larkin's book All Time Top 1000 Albums. He stated "if you are not familiar with this miraculous record, please take the risk." A Head Heritage review of the 2006 reissue compares the album with Nick Drake and the acoustic material of Meddle-era Pink Floyd.[20] It has been labeled a progenitor of the freak folk genre. - Wikipedia
