For #ThickTrunkTuesday, here is Filoli's camperdown elm (yet again), this time in full foliage.
For #ThickTrunkTuesday , here's yet another picture of the same Camperdown Elm at Filoli (there might be a theme to some of my pictures). This one shows what it looks like from underneath, looking from the trunk out towards the bowling green from the previous photo, when the branches are in full foliage.
For a (hidden) #ThickTrunkTuesday, here is "the" Camperdown Elm, the same as from last week and from my intro post, presiding over the end of the Filoli estate's bowling green, this time in full springtime foliage. On the right side you can also see the brilliant yellow leaves and white branches of the Sunburst Honey Locust tree which, unfortunately, was near its life expectancy; it became diseased and had to be removed a few years after this was taken.
For #ThickTrunkTuesday , here's another view of the Camperdown Elm in my intro post - this time, looking up from under the leafless winter branches. This photo really shows the twisty, gnarled structure of these unique trees.

For #MossMonday, a picture taken from underneath one of the two Camperdown Elm trees in the Filoli estate. The gnarled branches of this tree are covered in moss.
