We travel the Spaceways.
Snaps of the stuff we see along the way.
My posts have loads of edits as I can't spell for toffee and I worry too much about the rubbish I write!

07/05/2026 - A few wild flower photos from my walk today. All four new for me this year. Just lovely to have them back.
Bitter-vetch
Tormentil
Lesser Stitchwort
Germander Speedwell
07/05/2026 - Day off work. We had a long walk over the two hills within Aberdeen city boundary, Tyrebagger Hill & Brimmond Hill. 14 miles taken slow. We were out about 9 hours. We don't rush for nothing. Even managed to visit 3 cafes, which I think is good going for a single walk. Sunshine for the most part and the rain held off. Not many humans about too which is always a good thing. Nice wild flowers and plenty of birds. It's nice walking round here.
Took some pictures on my camera last November and have finally imported them so I can share them! This is one of my favourite places to go in the autumn as there is so much beauty everywhere you look.
I’ve not been out much of the winter as haven’t been feeling so well but I’m really hopeful that the next few months will be easier and I can resume my adventures with my camera.
06/05/2026 - Evening walk up Bennachie. I've not really been walking much away from the local patch this year so it was good to get away a bit farther and visit my favourite hill. We were at the top for sunset. I can't remember the last time I've visited this hill in the light. Nice to get a view of the surrounding countryside though I did miss the stars. We heard cuckoos on the way up.
05/05/2026 - A sunny evening walk after work. We came across climbing corydalis in flower on the back road and a tiny heather beetle. There's always interesting things to see on a slow walk.
I'm in love with the fields full of dandelions at the moment 💛
Coot chicks! One is perhaps just a few days old while the other is older and larger.
04/05/2026 - Who doesn't like a tasty stick for breakfast!
Early Monday morning walk before work at 9am. It was a good way to start the week.
