Chalked up another McClinchy Camano Classic. I was on the Camano route by 0740, riding solo. I knew the forecast was for rain to start around noon, so I didn't dally. Sure enough, when I got to Juniper Beach with 3 miles to go, the skies opened up. The rain persuaded me to skip the extra 15 miles to make it a metric century. Tacos and beer at SAAL Brewery just sounded better to me.

Attention PNW cyclists! Consider riding in the upcoming MCCLINCHY CAMANO CLASSIC CENTURY on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Some of the funds raised go to charities like Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop, Christmas House in Everett and Stanwood Camano Food Bank.

I do this ride every year. Like last year, I'll do the 65-mile metric century looping around Camano Island.
