Looks like the Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP) either sold my email address or was hacked and the address was stolen. Either way, I'm now getting spam to that unique address. I've stopped sending them my weather data.

@sunguramy So, it looks to me that the two options that do not require a lot of technology futzing are:
1. Vantage Vue Weather Station with Weatherlink Console (6242M) $695 (out of your budget)
or
2. Ambient Weather WS-2902 $189.99

Connecting that to CWOP here:

I have not used the Ambient Weather stations, myself, but I have seen some people like them. (I have a AcuRite stations I have wired up to Raspberry Pi, which is well beyond your "not a techy person" parameters)
The WS-2902 features a dramatic redesign of the LCD display for the very popular WS-2902B. Ambient Weather's newest Personal Wifi Weather Station allows you to monitor your home and backyard weather conditions with the brilliant, easy-to-read LCD color display. Monitor indoor and outdoor conditions, including wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV, solar radiation, barometric pressure, indoor/outdoor temperature (F and C), indoor/outdoor humidity, dew point, heat index, wind chill, and more. Connect your station to the Ambient Weather Network and join an interactive weather community with the ability to customize your online dashboard and share weather data socially, all for free. The Ambient Weather Exclusive includes one WH31E Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor that supports up to 8 channels to integrate with your Ambient weather station.
