سه کودک افغان مبتلا به بیماری سوراخ قلب که مدتی پیش به منظور تداوی به هند فرستاده شده بودند، پس از تکمیل تداوی و بهبودی کامل، به #کشور بازگشتند. این کودکان با هماهنگی #هلالاحمر_افغانی به هند منتقل شده بودند تا از تداوی معیاری بهرهمند شوند و در آنجا تحت معاینات صحی و عمل #جراحی موفقیتآمیز قرار گرفتند.
قابل ذکر است که تمامی هزینههای تداوی این کودکان از سوی حکومت هند تأمین شده بود. هلالاحمر افغانی ضمن قدردانی از تلاشهای #سفارت هند در #کابل، موفقیت این همکاری را ستایش میکند.
قرار است در آینده نزدیک و با حمایت حکومت هند و سفارت این کشور در کابل، دوازده کودک افغان دیگر که مبتلا به بیماری سوراخ قلب هستند، برای #تداوی به هند اعزام شوند.

Three Afghan #children born with congenital heart defects, who were sent to India for treatment by the #ARCS some time ago, have returned home after making a full recovery.
The children were sent under ARCS #coordination to receive proper medical care, where they successfully underwent all necessary examinations and #heart_surgeries.
The Government of India covered all the #costs for their treatment. The ARCS expresses its gratitude to the #Embassy of India in #Kabul for their support in making this initiative successful.
In the near future, with the support of the Government of India and the Indian Embassy in Kabul, the remaining 12 Afghan children suffering from congenital heart defects will be sent to India for #treatment.

Because these stories are told and retold, in meetings, messages, rituals, and daily interactions, they become a form of control.
In communities, people regulate themselves through stories of solidarity and care.
In partnerships, through stories of reciprocity and equality.
In marketplaces, through stories of generativity and proportionality.
But these moral stories do more than regulate behavior.
They give it meaning.
They explain why people act the way they do.
As such storytelling replaces supervision. They make abstract principles tangible and remind people what it means to be a good member of the organization.
And what it means to be a “good member” takes three very different shapes.
In a recent discussion about how money is the agent of coordination between humans, I went down a rabbit hole of trying to uncover what might be other ways in which humans can be coordinated.
It led me to this very interesting discussion around organizations and how they can be organized with culture – a set of shared stories that reinforce the behavior you want from society.

#Safer_Access: One-Day Workshop Held for Officials of Central Headquarters

A one-day workshop on Safer Access was held by the #ICRC in #Afghanistan for the directors of central headquarters, advisors to the leadership, and heads of independent units of the #ARCS.
Opening the workshop, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salaam, Under-Secretary General for Operational Affairs of ARCS, delivered remarks on the importance, objectives, and necessity of the workshop. He stated that the #components of Safer Access are pivotal to ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of #humanitarian_assistance, emphasizing that ARCS staff must pay careful attention to safety and Safer Access principles while performing their duties.
He added that Safer Access is particularly important for the proper organization of activities, and that joint cooperation and #coordination in this area can bring about positive changes in the expansion of humanitarian services and the provision of support to vulnerable families.
During the workshop, participants received detailed information on the eight components of Safer Access, safety measures during humanitarian operations, and strategies for maintaining an effective presence in the field. The goal was to enable #operational_teams to carry out their work in a safe and secure environment.

A coordination meeting was held between Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, President of the Afghan Red Crescent, and Hussam Faysal, Head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies delegation in Afghanistan, to address the challenges facing newly returning migrants from neighboring countries and to provide humanitarian aid for them.
The meeting included detailed discussions on how to provide emergency assistance, temporary shelter, healthcare services, and food supplies to returning migrants.
Both sides emphasized that they will strengthen joint efforts to meet the humanitarian needs of migrants and increase coordination in attracting aid.

در این #نشست، در رابطه با نحوه ارائه کمکهای عاجل، #سرپناه_موقت، خدمات صحی و مواد غذایی به مهاجرین عودتکننده به طور مفصل بحث شد.
هر دو جانب تأکید کردند که برای تأمین #نیازهای_بشردوستانه مهاجرین، تلاشهای مشترک را تقویت کرده و هماهنگی در زمینه جلب کمکها را افزایش خواهند داد.
