I may have leveled my knitting skill up slightly.

I dropped a stitch on this brioche pattern... And I might* have fixed it.

*I won't know for sure until I do the next row... And it's 1 AM so I'm not doing it now! That would be asking for more trouble!

Fixed or not, I learned something. 😆

Picture doesn't begin to cover how large and heavy this thing is. It's probably heavier than the sweater I'm wearing right now!

Nouvel essai de point #brioche, 48 mailles c'est un peu juste pour moi et c'est fort dommage, la plupart des modèles sont sur des multiples de 12... Faudra élargir pendant le blocage !
(pelote Opal aux couleurs de Use public transport - Save the city, de Hundertwasser; laine de contraste Archiduchesse de mamy factory, qui feutre beaucoup, lavage à froid indispensable)

I'm a huge fan of rainbow mini gradient sets, such as my current work in progress! Though "mini" here refers only to the mini skeins used to make this: the full piece is huge and I've still got several minis to go (each of those tiles is a square foot).

Pattern: Modified version of Iridian by Yeonee Makes (came with the countdown), but I subbed in a brioche pattern from Madrona Cowl by Pdxknitterati and one I made up because I'd rather do brioche patterns than count.

I'm up to day 15 of 21 in this solstice countdown. Had to take a break because it turns out knitting it on a shorter cable wasn't great for my hands, but after a rest and an ergonomic fix I'm back at it!

Colour!

This is the My Little Yarnicorn Winter Solstice countdown from Teal Torch Knits and it's well named. I (intentionally) didn't try to finish it as I opened the yarns so I'm on day 9 or so in this picture.

It's also spectacular under black light.

If you look at my social media my colour palette looks really muted because of all the pictures of my black dog and the greyscale photos of my mom's sock (to preserve a little bit of surprise).

But I should probably mention that the other thing on my needles is very much not grey.
