Kevin Archie(3) hiked with the kids yesterday up the 1st/2nd Flatiron trail and down Gregory Canyon, only 4 miles but a 1200’ climb and a really cool variety of habitats. Besides the expected (ravens, chickadees, Steller’s jays, robins) i heard two calls that I didn’t recognize at all. Merlin id’d the calls as a spotted towhee and a western flycatcher. So now I’m thinking I have to go back up Gregory with binoculars and a chair. Not a birder though. #boulder #colorado #birding

Boulder Progressives has significant concerns about the fiscal, governance, transportation, and process implications of the proposed DDA. We therefore request that City Council not approve the proposal as currently structured, and instead direct staff to research other ways to benefit the downtown.
