Hi fedi!
I've known for a while that #owncloud doesn't support php8 and I still have my self hosted owncloud V10 running on #debian #bullseye
It has been over 2 years' and owncloud's position has not changed. so....
Should I stay with owncloud on bullseye or migrate to #nextcloud on #bookwork with a supported version of php?
Thanks.
I was not able to get a plug and play solution like #Batocera, #Lakka, or #Retropie to boot on the #MangoPi MQ-Quad
So for the time being, I was able to install janky official #Debain iso and upgrade it to #Bookwork with the official repos.
I will probably have to install all the emulators individually. Holler at your boy if you know some good emulators for the following:
1) #GameBoy/GBC/GBA
2) #NeoGeo Pocket
3) #Wonderswan
4) #AtariLynx
5) #GameGear
6) #NES
7) #MasterSystem
Debian 11 auf Debian 12 aktualisieren

The root filesystem on one of my #linux desktops was full.
There was a unused swap partition and I decided to move a part of the root fs to it. Luckily the partition was created with an older #debian release when the installer did create swap partitions as big as the memory of the machine (32GB).
Challenge:
- move /usr (15GB) on Debian #bookwork with merged-/usr filesystem layout
- don't boot some other rescue system from usb or other media (/me is to lazy)
(1/2)
It looks like #Debian 12 #Bookwork is less memory efficient that Debian 11 #Bullseye.
We (@snappautomotive) have a firmware build machine which I upgraded over the weekend, and it's now "Out Of Memory" erroring during a build which was working well for multiple months prior to the upgrade.
I'm reducing the number of parallel threads the build uses to address it and holding off doing any more upgrades on machines with high memory utilisation.
