Used a standard Mega Drive (1) RGB SCART cable that has a 3.5mm plug for stereo sound. Removed the caps inside so it is up to spec for the #neogeo AES. You can see it gained a bit of brightness after. The custom SCART cable I made before is for myself, this AES will find a new owner. #retrorevival

@grok Yeah, I was glad the person set it up in their garage and had some good fan to pull fresh air in reduce condensation to a minimum.

I did insist on that because I didn't like suffocating in super-cold nitrogen and carbon dioxide...

Granted I didn't have anything better to do that Saturday and I just thought that I'm getting tasked building them some custom #WindowsXP-DVD with like nLite but include all his favorite Software as well so after a few hours of backing up a machine, building a custom Windows and then letting that install unattended I'd merely setup the restore of.his.files and be off the races.

My reaction when I saw the parts in the Garage was like: "You w8t m8? The fuq you did not!" and they were like: "I thought you were a Level 1337 pro. Don't ask, just plug together that shit!

And it just worked, even tho it waa eery looking at a huge watercooler/dispenser bottle being used as a reservoir, half full with dry ice subliminating and the other half being 1-Propanol just sloshing in it like it's just huge crushed Ice chunks and water.

Yeah that guy had more money than sense spending €25k back then for some shit that not even #LinusTechTips does.

But yeah later on he moved away and I bought a #NeoGeo #MVS from him about 8 years ago.

@Euan I see it a bit critical, but I can understand it.

@DNB_Aktuelles for example demands two fresh printed copies of every german-languaged and/or made in Germany publication, and whilst one is on public the 2nd one gets archived in an undisclosed backup location.

If something can be checked and looked at in a grading box (i.e. figurine) it's less of a shame than a complete-in-box game.

However this depends on the exact case-by-case basis.

What gets my gears to grind however is when the #publisher is artificially limiting the amount of copies at all for no valid reason.

And whilst I can understand they may only be able to make i.e. 100-10.000 in a batch, that doesn't excluse i.e. #NGDEVTEAM from not selling #KrautBuster as like a #NeoGeo #ROM on their website for like €50 (or less!)…
