50 Jahre DLR-Forschungshubschrauber #BO105! 🚁🎉

Seit 1974 ist der Eurocopter BO 105 beim DLR im Einsatz und hat dabei wertvolle Erkenntnisse für die Forschung gewonnen. Ob für Flugeigenschaftsuntersuchungen, als Träger für Wärmebildkameras, für die Untersuchung leiserer Anflüge, Entwicklung von Pilotenassistenzsystemen oder Flüge mit Außenlasten - der BO 105 ist ein wertvoller Teil der DLR-Forschungsflotte.

DLR-Hubschrauber BO 105 feiert „Forschungsjubiläum“

Er gilt auch heute noch als der Klassiker in der Luftrettung schlechthin: Der Hubschrauber Eurocopter BO 105. Den Erstflug hatte dieses Modell, das vom deutschen Hersteller Messerschmidt-Bölkow-Blohm entworfen wurde, bereits im Jahr 1967. Sieben Jahre später, im Jahr 1974, nahm eine BO 105 ihren Dienst für die Forschung im Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) auf.
