Those aware of the circumstances will understand that the chances of another Duffy album surfacing are very slim, which is unfortunate. I have always admired her voice and loved her music since her 2008 debut album, 'Rockferry'. Listening to it today, it still stands strong and feels just as refreshing as when I first heard it 16 years ago as of writing this. She might have been overshadowed by Amy Winehouse at the time, and with her current extended hiatus, she has likely faded into obscurity or been forgotten by the masses. Nevertheless, I still vividly recall her music. After careful consideration, Duffy's 'Rockferry' easily claims its place as one of my favourite underrated gems in my cherished record collection. In my opinion, there isn't a single weak track on this soul-like record!
