RIP Kwakwaka'wakw Hereditary Chief Bill Wilson of the Kwakiutl First Nation.

He was instrumental in getting treaty rights enshrined in the constitution in the 1980's, the second indigenous person to graduate law school in BC, and the father of Jody Wilson-Raybould who stood up to Trudeau when he attempted to compromise the independence of the justice system for corporate gain.

He was a great Canadian leader, and he raised his daughter to be the same.
