Be afraid, very afraid

We will need more smart folks while the #bigCorps are creating systems that will dumb us down.

The robot wars are here and the robots are winning because most folks don't even know the battle is going on.

Right now our only value to the system is that we can answer captcha questions like; check all images with a fire hydrant. Watch out for the time when the robots know what a fire hydrant looks like:-)

If you do work with - or even worse - for LLMs, please do read his arguments.

Otherwise, human kind is in great danger of becoming easy targets for #manipulation, #greed, #corruption and other dangers.

LLMs are not a disruptive tool like cars or printing presses. They are a concept like #money which is and will be used to control the masses.

This isn't going away. So let's face its dangers and deal with it properly before it is too late.

There are two cost components:
1) the added tax that the conservatives are collecting from the citizens of the USA.

2) the extra profit the bigCorps are adding on because it can hide under the umbrella of the tax the conservatives have imposed on the people.

The benefit of having the #bigCorps collect the #tax is that the corps can add on a little something for themselves. Every gangster knows that the bag-man gets a cut. Its criminality 101.

There is more to #democracy than voting.

Since my phone runs #GrapheneOS with #FDroid and #Aurora, precisely to minimize being sucked into the Google surveillance system, I am particularly annoyed by this. The US #conservatives are breaking a trade-agreement, treat the agreement as broken. It was signed as a single agreement and it falls as one. That includes the part about you changing your laws so their bigCorps can made bigger profits.

Do not respond to the US raising #tariffs by raising tariffs. This only hurts your own people by taxing them too and this helps the #bigCorps.
It is like two children fighting by calling each other poopy-head.

You hit the nail on the head.

The #GOP plan to "save" #socialSecurity is to kill the people that need it.

Folks need to remember that our military runs out of funding in 3 months.

We can have congress save Social Security and protect people, the same way that they will save the military and protect the #bigCorps they can just fund both.

We havent been taxing the billionaire class for a long time and it has NOT worked out well for we-the-people.

A few more like this and maybe #bigCorps #crime would go down.

How about, have a health ins corp with procedures that systemically denies legit health care claims ; executive board goes to jail.

mfg plant design that allows a river to be polluted; executive board goes to jail.

maybe #capitalism can work if cost are not externalized and decision-makers are held accountable.

aw, your no fun, but thanks, I can use that to described what enshittification means and how it applies to the internet and modern day #bigCorps as opposed to the environment.

I wonder if #conservatives will know defedation but I know they will understand what enshittification means:-) and clarity of speech is important.
