God's Word shows that the peacemakers preach the gospel of peace, which does NOT automatically bring peace among people The Gospel is extremely controversial, which is why many are persecuted for preaching the Gospel of peace. The peacemakers preach that through faith in (obedience to) Christ Jesus, man can again be at peace with God, which will often bring him into conflict with others. Did not the Author of the Gospel of peace tell us He came to bring a sword? Yes, He did (Matthew 10:34).
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:1).
"But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh (close) by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace..." (Ephesians 2:13-14)

Ric Ocasek of The Cars “scored” in the early 80s in more ways than one, Playboy playmate in one of the music videos off his debut solo album and then he marries a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model a couple years later. Was he really happy though? Dunno but I’ve always liked the song from the first time I heard it 41 years ago in Minneapolis.
