“Threads” seems shockingly close to home, and the build up to the nuclear attack on Sheffield feels all too plausible and disturbingly familiar. Iran, Russia, the US and the UK become embroiled in a Middle Eastern conflict that escalates into an all out nuclear war.
More people in the world should watch this film. It’s a very very disturbing movie, and as relevant now as it was in 1984.
