Because the 8th Doctor is who (pun intended) he is.

Someone being right In the most tragic and happy way.

There's so much i would like to say about Death In Blackpool. Without spoil anything. Is the closing of a particular arc for Aunt Pat. Who... had a very curious development as character.

More than anything else, is a relief . And a source for not very pleasant things for Lucie :(

I've enjoyed this tale. But i'm still processing it.

Psychic spiders vs the Earth. Ad the 8th Doctor so worried he could sell the surplus.

The cult leader being scared by what happens thanks to him is pure poetic justice. Oh, and he made the Doctor angry. And you know what that means.

This is one of the most Doctor Who tales i've ever enjoyed. And is entertaining, yes.

Horror in the finest whovian tradition.
