Nee, den film können wir auf unserem contentindustriellen filmfest nicht zeigen, da sind selfies und striehms der hamas-mitmörder beim massenmordanschlag vom 7. oktober 2023 in israel mit drin, für die es keine „rechte“ gibt.
Als Kämpfer der Hamas und andere palästinensische Terrororganisationen zahlreiche Communitys und das Musikfestival Nova im Süden Israels am 7. Oktober 2023 massakrierten, hatten sie dabei Spaß. Davon zeugen etliche Videos, die die Terroristen selbst mit Bodycams und Handys filmten und live streamten.
Sie sind, um einen Begriff von Klaus Theweleit in Bezug auf andere terroristische Anschläge zu borgen, „lachende Täter“, getrieben von einer fanatischen Tötungslust. Über die Hinrichtungen, Enthauptungen, Leichenschändungen und sexualisierte Gewalt, die sie in Israel anrichteten, zeigten diese Täter sich stolz. Der 7. Oktober gehört zu einer der bestdokumentierten Anschläge aller Zeiten, die Videos sind Teil des Terrors.
Die Entscheidung des Toronto International Film Festivals, die Dokumentation „The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue“ von Barry Avrich auszuladen, ist vor diesem Hintergrund so absurd wie gefährlich. Die offizielle Begründung: Copyright. Die Filmemacher hätten von den Urhebern der Hamas keine Rechte bekommen, die Aufnahmen zu zeigen, die im Film vorkommen, so das kanadische Festival, das am 4. September beginnen soll
Aber hej, irgendwelche in erster linje für die filmreklame veranstalteten filmfeste sind sowieso der allerletzte scheißdreck für billigste billigpsychen. Und wenn es bei so einer veranstaltung zur filmreklame p’litische demonstrazjonen gibt, ist das halt schlecht fürs geschäft. Gut, dass es das „geistige eigentum“ gibt, da braucht man das noch nicht einmal so direkt zu sagen.
