Question(s) for anyone who knows barefoot shoes.

Right now, I'm in Merrell Vapor Glove 6, men's U.S. size 10.  The right one fits what-feels-like-about-perfect.  My fifth metatarsal is slammed against the inside of the left shoe, though.  So, AFAICT, the fitment issue is actually not with the width of the toe box but behind that.  I'm almost certain that going from 10 to 10.5 would fix the problem with the left foot, but also that that would be too big on the right.

Recommendations?

So, I don't think I can call myself vegan. I exclusively wear minimalist/barefoot style shoes, as they help me avoid injuries. Unfortunately, vegan selections are limited. And I've realized that all the vegan shoes I own look cheap, worn out, and/or too casual. I've been embarrassed by my shoes for quite a while.

So I bought some leather shoes. 🫣

The weather forecast for the next couple of days doesn't look good. Actually, we expect some rain later tonight. I decided to get some outdoor miles in before the wet weather. Went out to the footpath along a neighborhood creek just before the sunset.

Ran 10 km super easy. I had worn a regular running shoes since the fall. As my knee had recovered well, I returned to a pair of the barefoot shoes tonight. I felt good and strong throughout.
