So, I don't think I can call myself vegan. I exclusively wear minimalist/barefoot style shoes, as they help me avoid injuries. Unfortunately, vegan selections are limited. And I've realized that all the vegan shoes I own look cheap, worn out, and/or too casual. I've been embarrassed by my shoes for quite a while.

So I bought some leather shoes. 🫣

The weather forecast for the next couple of days doesn't look good. Actually, we expect some rain later tonight. I decided to get some outdoor miles in before the wet weather. Went out to the footpath along a neighborhood creek just before the sunset.

Ran 10 km super easy. I had worn a regular running shoes since the fall. As my knee had recovered well, I returned to a pair of the barefoot shoes tonight. I felt good and strong throughout.

So...I ordered some new five fingers from Vibram last week, and just before 7pm tonight, (despite Malta being ravaged by storms) UPS delivered my super quiet new V-Alphas.

Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my V-Treks, but I love a sale, and 30% off another pair of five fingers direct from source is to good to pass up.

Well that is my second pair of VFF's ordered, not that there is anything wrong with my V-Treks, even after 1100km of running...the same can't be said for the state of my toes socks...little bit of darning to do in between to toes of my right sock later.

Anyway they have the ones I wanted in the Winter Sale...so 5-7 working days, and UPS will be knocking on my door

So now for a little barefoot happy dance.
