I’ve gotten a box of very ripe #bananas, which I can’t eat fast enough before they go overripe.
Can I freeze bananas (without the peel)? What’s the best way to do it? Whole or in slices? Is there anything in particular I need to bear in mind?
Would be nice if I had portions for banana shakes, banana bread etc. for later.

Attached: 1 image They are frozen now! Thanks to your great tips I made it like this: I peeled them (even if "bio", I don't know what the peels contain). Took a large 3 l zip lock bag on a big plate. Just divided the bananas in half and laid them flat into the bag. Transported the plate and inserted the bag with a whoosh from the plate, flat into the freezer. Even if they touch each other, I can easily break them in portions. Yeah. 3 kg of bananas! Thanks to all for helping!

Island Spider – Harry’s adventure

This is the cover artwork for my story, Island Spider. It’s the story of Harry, a very hairy tropical that gets gets caught up in a bunch of bananas and is transported to a far away land. After surviving various adventures he needs to try and get home.Luckily for him there are some locals to help him do it.

You know what I miss? Small bananas. And what's frustrating is that there's no place I can go to particularly find small bananas. It's a crapshoot, but 90% of the time the only bananas I can find in the markets are huge.

The small ones taste better and are a much more convenient size unless you're starving for a giant banana. So why aren't they available most of the time?
