It’s amazing how much email phishing and spam my email gets caught by my Avanan email security system that office365 missed. Also this a huge help in cleaning out my office 365 email otherwise I’d have to screen these manually. Some of these are posing as collaboration offers since I’m a TikTok creator. Also this is just over a week and yes those were legit phishing emails as I checked them out. #Cybersecurity #Infosec #tiktok #email #phishing #avanan #spam

Woke up to another #phishing #email caught by new #Avanan security for my #office365. It’s basically a requirement to have an e-mail security product these days if you have any kind of exposure as a public facing entity or person like I am with someone who has almost 340K followers on #tiktok

I am loving the new #Email #Security I implemented from #Avanan in my #Office365. Caught my first #Phish today. I highly recommend this for anyone using #Office365 or #GoogleWorkspace. Just a note this is technically a business product even as inexpensive as it is. You will need an LLC or such to do business with them. But I say it's totally worth it.

My new #email #security from #Avanan caught my first #phishing email today since deployment last week. Credential harvesting attack it looks like. Still a bit aggressive on spam, further training required but definitely better than stock #office365 or #google. Something Linus Tech Tips could have definitely used to possibly prevent their issues

Well the new #Email #Security system from #Avanan may be in learning mode, but within one single day I am already noticing its usefulness. Look at that it's catching additional spam #Microsoft may be missing in #Office365. Admittedly it's mostly some false positives from alerts that do look spammy. But this is GREAT! Already more protected than #LinusTechTips email was when they fell victim to a malicious PDF. Plus it covers my #OneDrive and #Teams

My #Email #security is finally configured for detection and is in learning mode now. I will be setting remediation up in the coming weeks after some education on my #Avanan platform. It's covering my Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook email with the idea I can even make sure the meetings I have with vendors and such are secured more. This also works for #Google #Slack, #Dropbox #Box and #Citrix link

This right here is one of the major reasons I advice businesses to use #Office365. For business you really only have two choices #Google or #microsoft for #Email. Because it's not just about Email, it's about tying all the security and automation into your environment. For this reason I have pulled the trigger on #Avanan. I will be tinkering and have a #Tiktok and write up on my #Wordpress blog. It may take me a few days to fully configure #infosec #Cybersecurity

The only reason I like being an #influencer is when companies mess up I can REALLY light a fire under their ass. Been waiting for #Avanan to send me my damn e-mail security plan so I can have another layer of #email security

What are #SelfHosted #SysAdmins using for reducing spam on email accounts hosted with #Linux these days?

#SpamAssassin is letting so much spam through on one particular account. Have looked into adding a cloud layer like #Mimecast, #ProofPoint, #Avanan etc but I'm probably too small scale for them.
