@volpeon This is a #NextLevel #AssholeMove and I thought #StaleBot was a shitty idea once @marcan showed it to everyone, but this is just bad.

And it's not like some #commercial #SourceAvailable Software where they only accept issues from paying customers, which I think is not good but understandable...

It's just infuriating bs. and the fact that one can't just pop-in genuine parts bought from Apple similar to EVERY SINGLE #Fairphone, #Samsung, #Motorola and #Lenovo #ThinkPad device is just a big #AssholeMove that should be outloawed - espechally since this is designed to prevent any #IndependentRepair from gaining tools and/or parts access...

NOONE's gonna wait WEEKS for a display or hand over a technician the IMEI / SN of a device to swap a screen - that's just arsenine!!!

Not to mention it's an absolute #AssholeMove by all #Laptop manufacturers to not have a #ToolfreeSwappableBattery on their device!

Because there is no valid reason for that shit, when #Panasonic #Toughbook CF-19 were #waterproof with toolfree swappable battery and devices like the #Sony #Vaio #P11Z were thin & light yet had toolfree-swappable batteries...
