So, first day is over. My initial impressions are great with #Gigabyte #AORUS #FO32U2. It really is an upgrade compared to the old display.
Now, the cheaper version didn’t come with USB-C cable, so I had to order one, so I can get rid of a bunch of more useless crap (cables, external KVM). And connect the iPad with one cable for charging and display!

I had a not so fun moment trying BIOS firmware F9.
I experienced system crash:
- at BIOS screen
- at boot loader screen and rendering issue
- at Linux kernel stage (blue screen of death)
- at FS level (BTRFS remounted read-only due to corruptions)
- at KDE level (crash when getting in auto loggout state)
- in Firefox (crash when heavy allocation occurs and rendering issues)
Rolling back to firmware F8 resolve problems.

@AlyxTheWolf The worst is once you pay a little more attention and see how little money they're saving per unit. I've never had wireless issues with my Pi Zero W, and the difference in price between it and the no-wireless version is $5 ($10 vs $5).
So, if you buy a "smart" appliance and try to indulge the internet features (or are stuck helping family who insist...), know that the reason it won't work on a 5Ghz network is because they really needed to save less than $5 per unit.
More recently, thinking of when my included monitor cable (with my $800 monitor) turned out to be bad so I replaced it with a $7 cable that worked. Glad #Aorus saved a few bucks to give me a bad cable.
