440 antihistamine pills from Shoppers $1012 ($2.3/pill) vs 480 (yes, 40 more!) $953 ($1.99/pill) at Costco.
Holy beans! I wish I had switched pharmacies earlier.

Back from the bush after checking my camera-trap, and got home to discover I'd brought a passenger.
The last time I had ticks on me I wound up in emergency with a severe allergic reaction - but that time I'd probably been bitten by 3 or 4.
My son helped me freeze it with compressed air, then pull it out with tweezers. Always a relief to see you've got the head out as well.
I have also discovered, on reading the Patient Info Leaflet, that my Loratadine (anti-histamine) may induce drowsiness (not unexpected), and also *sleeplessness*, rather more unexpected. I'd noticed on the nights when I sub in Cetirizine when I've finished a 15-count card of Loratadine, I've slept better; last night I just didn't take anything, and slept beautifully, with only one short waking period - AND I didn't need to get up to go to the loo! OK, I'll stick to one Loratadine a day in the mornings, then! The GP had suggested I could/should take 2 a day (or even 3 if needed), as there's an allergic component to my asthma.
And it begins.
The sound of laughter filled the air at a local family picnic when I noticed Sophie, one of my neighbors, sitting on the sidelines, scratching her arms with visible frustration. #allergymanagement #angioedema #antihistamines #chronicurticaria #hives #skinrash #urticaria
