We’re interested in better data on local allergens, ideally with alerts. Do you have a favorite tool for finding this data?
Specifically for environmental allergies in the US PNW, including mold spores as well as different types of pollen.
We think the ridiculously high tree pollen this week contributed to my feeling really terrible. The Pollen app available for iOS showed the area was down to low-medium on Saturday, but the web-based pollencount.app from Accuweather noted that most pollen was low-medium, but tree pollen were over 2250 grains per cubic meter!!!
High pollen is reached at only 100 grains per cubic meter.
For most of the last two weeks tree pollen has been listed as “extreme”. I’d say the difference between 100 versus 2250 is definitely extreme! By Wednesday we should be at zero after a few days of rain.
