Visual artist and writer from Amsterdam. Lies creates tactile sculptures and installations that invite closeness and sensory experience. Her work responds to the emotional and physical distance of our times.

She honours human vulnerability and often shows the female body as a gesture of protest, comfort or quiet resistance. Her practice blends softness and absurdity, raising social questions through physical form.

She also teaches creative writing at various academies, encouraging others to connect through voice, touch and story.
