Our #HomemadePieOfTheMonth for June (just squeaking in!) is Cherry Custard #Pie from Ken Haedrichβs book Pie Academy.Easy recipe β could have been easier still, but I chose to use fresh cherries!
After pitting a bunch of cherries, I paused baking prep to go (re-) purchase an ingredient, and almost forgot to wash my forearms as well as my hands. Best not to go out in public wearing a subtle blood spatter effect. π¬
