The album I started my day off with was Prairie Home Invasion by Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixon, so I was positively radical and activist coded from my opening moments which has helped as I've done some research into several third party Presidential candidates for the podcast I'm working on putting together and dedicated most of the weekend to.

LessThanPerfectSur le papier, The Exbats sont le groupe le plus improbable qui soit : fondé par un père et sa fille alors âgée de 10 ans, et basé dans une petite ville au fin fond de l'Arizona.
Et pourtant... Musicalement, c'est furieusement 60s, avec un son #garagerock et #altcountry qui penche parfois vers les #girlgroups (Shangri-Las en tête), parfois vers les groupes proto-#riotgirl (Ace of Cups ou Fanny par exemple).
Vraiment unique ! Je ne sais pas comment j'ai fait pour passer à côté aussi longtemps.

The Jawhawks, Golden Smog's Down by the Old Mainstream, and Out of Time by R.E.M. are the albums I started my day with today. Definitely indicates a certain vibe I was riding.
This Jayhawks album, Sound of Lies, was a really good choice in my ongoing campaign to listen to a full album every morning as I have my coffee. I've neglected their albums other than Hollywood Town Hall and I'm now correcting that.
