Haaretz reports revealed that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) rejected a resolution condemning the influence of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and describing it as opaque political funding, as well as another proposal calling for the recognition of what was described as genocide in Gaza, alongside demands to impose restrictions on US military aid to Israel.
According to the report, the party’s resolutions committee voted against the proposal that directly targeted AIPAC and instead adopted general wording condemning opaque political funding without naming any specific organization, in an effort to avoid singling out particular groups.
