Ayer después del intercambio de información entre algunos #mastodones y yo respecto al bloqueo de la publicidad de #Youtube mediante #adlists de #pihole estuve indagando un poco más.

Al final me topé con un espacio en #github que gestiona Perflyst (https://github.com/Perflyst/PiHoleBlocklist/) con unas adlists muy curiosas y precisas, es decir, listas que bloquean dominios concretos para #SmartTV, #AmazonFireTV, etc... y actualizadas no más de tres o cuatro meses.

Lo curioso y que desconocía, es que cada marca de TV hace que haya diferencias a la hora de bloquear anuncios y aquí se recogen muchas de esas marcas de SmartTV.

Por mi lado, he añadido las dos de SmartTV a mi #pihole para probarlas y por el momento sin problemas. Observaré durante estos días si aparecen anuncios en mi TV (aunque como dije no me salen ahora... teniendo una TV #samsung ).

Seguiremos investigando...

I’m curious as to what #pihole #adlists other people are using; At least when it comes to SOHO use. I feel like the lists I’m using aren’t catching much and my Google searches produce recommendations with older or less reliable advice.
