As a child in the 70s I camped with the Scouts on Dartmoor. We dug latrines & gathered firewood to cook with. We encountered badgers for the first time in our lives, and saw the glory of the Milky Way in a night sky free of light pollution. Succeeding generations have been impoverished by their lack of access to such transformative experiences. #AccessToNature - including responsible wild camping - should be a human right
