Oooph, going through Sara Ahmed's Complaint! about "blanking" (stonewalling) and it hits close to home.

Senior faculty and admin don't even need to contradict you, they can just ignore you.

It happened to me when I was a sessional. They know you are disposable. The long silence and moving on as if you've not even spoken makes you feel like you must be the crazy one, but it's very strategic and very intentional.
