benxHey everyone, for the past day or so I've been working on this handler again.
I now have a version that should work properly now for status posts - it makes use of the Mastodon API to perform a search lookup and get the correct path.
I'm going to put a bunch of quality of life checks in place, before releasing the update into the wild.
However, if anyone wants to test it out in its current state, let me know.

Made a web based protocol handler for a custom activitypub link URI scheme. The aim of this is to demonstrate a method for allowing users to follow other people's accounts and interact with other people's posts in a much easier way. Installing the handler allows you to open up special links anywhere on the internet that will load other people's posts and profile directly into your own instance's web client automatically (no more copy and paste).
