"Making Out" has another Amstrad with a PC 1512 appearing in some scenes. An episode of "Maths Counts" has a crucial role for an Acorn BBC Micro and another Acorn machine, the rather rare Communicator, makes its debut appearance in an episode of "Bugs".

Me lo estoy pasando bomba pasando programas del curso de programación INPUT de Marshall Cavendish para el Acorn BBC Micro. Con el editor online de BBC BASIC (https://bbcmic.ro/), resulta muy fácil preservarlos.

Por ejemplo, el programa Calendario y Diario (Calendar & Diary, en inglés) de los nº 32 a 34 de la colección.

Aún me quedan artículos del 34 hasta el nº 51 por revisar.

OK so the #acorn #archimedes A3000 is in better shape. I can boot to a GUI but the CMOS won’t save. All traces seem to be OK so I’ve ordered a replacement chip. The mouse socket is corroded to hell also, so another one the way too. We’re making progress though. Desoldering the mouse socket was an arse. #retrocomputing

Might anyone be able to find the BBC Basic source of "A Meagre Demonstration" which is a Boing demo for the Archimedes - from back in the day? Asking for a friend.

As seen on the BBC’s computer news programme Micro Live. Broadcast on BBC One, 14 December 1987, presented by Fred Harris and Lesley Judd. Also repackaged in Micro File 2, episode The Generation Game.
