Tehtyä:

• kaulan oikaisu
• kaikkien tallan osien viilaus, jäätävän huono valujälki ja maalaus
• Maadoituksen overhaul
• uuden satulan teko. Alkuperäinen liian matala ohuille ja liian korkea paksuille kielille, viilaus ei tuottanut hyvää lopputulosta.

Lopputulos on nyt kelvolliinen, satula jäi karvan ylikorkeaksi, mutta kielet soi koko skaalalla aivan ok. Toisaalta korkeammalla olevat kielet on parempi, jos viritys on vaikka Drop E tai D, ei rämistele ikävästi.

I spoiled myself a bit 😋
I got two “extreme-range” guitars: a 7-string and an 8-string.

Now I’m experimenting with re-arranging classic thrash riffs by shifting the entire tuning down, playing 6-string parts on the lower strings to give them a heavier, modern sound.

It’s fun to mix music with my tech side. Creativity helps both worlds 🤘

New #Project #guitar. I got this #8string #Schecter Omen for less than 300€ used. The overall condition is good, but it looks bad due to the missing Pickup and electronics. The one inside was replaced with a good sounding #DiMarzio D-Activator though.

My plan is to replace what is missing, give it a good clean, play around with it and probably sell it again. If anyone's interested in seeing the progress, give me a heads up!
