I got two “extreme-range” guitars: a 7-string and an 8-string.

Now I’m experimenting with re-arranging classic thrash riffs by shifting the entire tuning down, playing 6-string parts on the lower strings to give them a heavier, modern sound.

It’s fun to mix music with my tech side. Creativity helps both worlds 🤘

New #Project #guitar. I got this #8string #Schecter Omen for less than 300€ used. The overall condition is good, but it looks bad due to the missing Pickup and electronics. The one inside was replaced with a good sounding #DiMarzio D-Activator though.

My plan is to replace what is missing, give it a good clean, play around with it and probably sell it again. If anyone's interested in seeing the progress, give me a heads up!
