- One published short fiction anthology (as editor)

Wir können gerade wieder in Echtzeit beobachten, wie Männer die Erfahrungen von Frauen abwehren und infrage stellen, wie Männer andere Männer darin bestärken, Frauen grundsätzlich nicht zu glauben und offensichtliche Gewaltausübung zu leugnen oder zu ignorieren.
Wir erleben gleichzeitig, warum Frauen leider viele Gründe haben, sich Männern mit ihren Erfahrungen gar nicht erst anzuvertrauen.
Patriarchale Gewalt fuĂźt auf einer Kultur der aktiven Ignoranz weiblicher (Gewalt-) Erfahrungen.
Diese Ignoranz kennt viele Strategien: Relativierung, Verharmlosung, Whataboutism, persönliche Diskreditierung, Schuldumkehr, Gaslighting, Tokenism uvm. Das Patriarchat hat ein ganzes kulturelles Arsenal entwickelt, um weibliche Erfahrungen überall effektiv unwirksam zu machen, sobald sie sichtbar werden wollen.
Aber Ignoranz ist kein Schicksal. Wir können das ändern.
How (racist/sexist/whatever) harassment on Mastodon works:
1. Harasser replies to their target's post, with the reply set to "followers only", saying the most vile stuff you can imagine.
2. All the harasser's followers join in on the harassment, posting more vile stuff.
3. Nobody but the target and the harassment crew can see the vile stuff that was said.
4. Target is traumatized. Nobody else can see why.
5. Everybody says "I don't see it so it's not happening."
I wanted to wait after my vacation is over with going back onto Mastodon, but.... well. Hot Shot Records, a record store in Bremen in which I discovered some of the most important albums of my life, has suffered water damage in their storage facility, and it looks like insurance isn't willing to pay.
