Il Tempo: Vino, Tajani: "Export fondamentale, stiamo lavorando tantissimo"
Roma, 12 apr. (Adnkronos) - "L'export è fondamentale, noi dobbiamo guardare certamente al mercato Usa ma anche altri accordi come il Mercosur sono cruciali. Stiamo lavorando tantissimo". Lo dice il ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani intervenendo al Vinitaly ed aggiunge: "Sono ottimista perché siamo riusciti ad ottenere dazi compatibili con la nostra competitività. Il 15% è tanto, ma neanche tanto - commenta - perché ci sono paesi con dazi piu alti e noi possiamo occupare spazi con la qualità del nostro prodotto. Il vino italiano è di altissima qualità quindi anche l'americano è disposto a spender di più per averlo".
Tajani ricorda inoltre che "dal primo gennaio è entrata in vigore la riforma: il ministero degli Esteri sarà anche un ministero economico. E la nostra direzione generale per la crescita sarà sostenere e favorire le esportazioni. Nessun imprenditore italiano all'estero si sentirà più solo - garantisce - ogni ambasciata sarà un trampolino di lancio per favorire la crescita. Siamo arrivati nonostante le guerre e i dazi a un 3,3 per cento in più di esportazioni rispetto all'anno precedente. Ciò vuol dire che è la qualità del prodotto italiano che ci permette di vincere queste sfide, una qualità accompagnata da una organizzazione sempre più efficiente. ricordo che nella nuova Direzione generale della crescita è operativa una sala informazioni funzionante 24 ore su 24 per poter essere sostenuti", conclude.

We are working very hard.” This is what Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said during his intervention at Vinitaly, adding: “I am optimistic because we have been able to obtain tariffs compatible with our competitiveness. 15% is a lot, but not so much – he comments – because there are countries with higher tariffs and we can occupy spaces with the quality of our product. Italian wine is of the highest quality, so the American is also willing to spend more to have it.”
Tajani also recalls that “since January 1st, the reform has come into effect: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also be an economic ministry. And our General Directorate for Growth will support and promote exports. No Italian entrepreneur abroad will feel alone anymore – he guarantees – every embassy will be a launchpad to promote growth. We have arrived despite the wars and tariffs with an increase of 3.3 percent in exports compared to the previous year. This means that it is the quality of the Italian product that allows us to overcome these challenges, a quality accompanied by increasingly efficient organization. I recall that in the new General Directorate for Growth, a functioning information room is operational 24 hours a day to be supported,” he concludes.
