Hi, I’m Yessie, a legally blind dog mom. β™‹οΈβ™ŽοΈβ™‹οΈπŸŒˆβ™ΎοΈ

Was walking some dog food out to the freezer in the garage when someone came to my door to give me some kind of paper. I was really brusk and took it and said "thank you have a nice day" then walked away to put the dog food away. Then I came inside and used the AI to read the paper and turns out I should have been more rude... It was the Jehovah's witnesses. Nothing gets my blood boiling like missionaries because I never see a missionary without thinking of the generations of harm and awful things that have happened to people all over the world because of this need for many flavor of Christians to convert everyone to the worship of their god. It's better that I didn't know who they were because I would have had some words. But no, random Jehovah's witnesses, I will not be attending a memorial for Jesus on Thursday. ETA Going to burn a bunch of Mugwort and sprinkle cleansing herbs and salt around the property boundaries I guess. Need better wards. More witchcraft, less evangelizing please and thank you. πŸ§™β€β™€οΈπŸ”₯

This Afroman trial is giving me life.

Cops raided Afroman's house for no reason. They pointed guns at him and his kids, ransacked his house, and tried to disconnect his home security cameras. They didn't disconnect them all, and so were allegedly caught on camera stealing his money.

He then made a series of music videos using footage from his security camerasz and body cam footage. Now the cops are suing him for making the videos. The ACLU is defending him.

Is empathy political?
A thread on autistic empathy.

A still-quite-popular belief about autistic people is that we lack empathy.

I think this is faulty logic.
Here's why:

Y'all, I am so excited that this article exists.

#Scarleteen put up an article about negotiating COVID risk from an STI framework.

I haven't seen a lot of discourse on how to talk productively about COVID risk, I've mostly seen the relationship tension from disagreements and the corporate shill angle (i.e. gaslighting about the risk itself).

#HarmReduction peeps also pls take a look

ΒWhat Would it Look Like if We Treated COVID Like an STI?

Did you know you can apply safer sex practices to COVID-cautious choices, as well as other respiratory infections?

Next month USPS introduces paid tracking access (paid per delivery/request) for 3rd party apps like Parcel.

What does it mean for you if you are tracking USPS deliveries in Parcel?

If you are a subscriber, you should be able to track 3-5 deliveries per month with real-time updates.

However, if you track more than that or if you are a free (or legacy premium) user, USPS deliveries will be severely delayed for you.

More details will be available next month. USPS info:

I was hoping people would come over to the side against eugenics and mass COVID infection BEFORE they, themselves, were disabled by it. My hope was to help them save themselves, too.

Unfortunately, people don't want to be saved.
