I was hoping people would come over to the side against eugenics and mass COVID infection BEFORE they, themselves, were disabled by it. My hope was to help them save themselves, too.

Unfortunately, people don't want to be saved.

The shift to COVID awareness is inevitable due to the nature of what this virus does.

You'll understand the urgency of the problem once you're part of the disabled masses that society is openly calling for the extermination of.

You'll understand once you feel what it's like to be abandoned by everyone you love because you're not fun anymore.

You'll understand when you hear family casually mention to your spouse that maybe it would be better if you just died.

You'll know, then, that this isn't an exaggeration.

@PacificNic @johnbrowntypeface it's the most unsatisfying, most depressing "I told you so" for the handful of us who kept following the plot and maybe learned to protect ourselves a little better.
@PacificNic I’ve had some luck with very very limited people in my life taking precautions after seeing the effects, but I agree overwhelmingly this seems the case—and it’s devastating.
