DeAtramentis's Document White Ink. No clue what science magic happened to make this not clog the hell out of pens... But it dosen't. It has a permanent home in a smaller FPR with an ultraflex nib. This is an always-inked ink. I use a lot of fun high end letterpress papers, and being able to use the dark colored ones is glorious. Def. needs lots of shaking, and takes a bit to get it flowing after sitting for a day or two. But joyous wonderful ink.

@penfount #FountainPen I try not to be a dick in general... But when I call and ask 'do you carry fountain pens and ink?' And you tell me over the phone you have "a full line of Pilot fountain pens and bottled ink" and I drive and hour and a half to find what you actually carry are Varsity pens in - black, blue and red- and one bottle of Higgins India Ink from 1998... And get snotty when I'm trying to explain why their information is wrong... I'm leaving you a less than seller review. 🤬

The event staff were amazing- kind and helpful and some really nice swag. Savage vintage pens was a great neighbor and the staggering amount of knowledge of pen types he has ... mind blowing. And Gena Salorino / Custom Nib Studio is brilliant. Incredibly skilled and patient and kind with endless questions. I am *so excited* to mail her so many pens. So, come out and visit next year! Yay pen friends!

@penfount I survived my first pen show. A completely different experience than any other convention/faire/fan based gathering activity I've been to. 85% of the people were lovely and quirky and awesome. 15% were gate-keepy misogynistic jerks who are not worth typing about- nothing new there. Lol. Overall the St. Louis pen show was a great experience and I highly recommend it for a beginner to pen shows. (1 of 2)
