A completely different experience than any other convention/faire/fan based gathering activity I've been to. 85% of the people were lovely and quirky and awesome. 15% were gate-keepy misogynistic jerks who are not worth typing about- nothing new there. Lol. Overall the St. Louis pen show was a great experience and I highly recommend it for a beginner to pen shows. (1 of 2)

The event staff were amazing- kind and helpful and some really nice swag. Savage vintage pens was a great neighbor and the staggering amount of knowledge of pen types he has ... mind blowing. And Gena Salorino / Custom Nib Studio is brilliant. Incredibly skilled and patient and kind with endless questions. I am *so excited* to mail her so many pens. So, come out and visit next year! Yay pen friends!
