LLM is not good at numbers but maybe it is good enough for some use cases?
Finally weighted myself after the trip. Lost 5 pounds. Kinda expected.
On #EBC the food was decent but not great. The higher you go, the more expensive and limited food becomes. People generally don't recommend ordering meat in higher villages, because all food was carried up and meat might not be properly refrigerated. And an order of "fried egg(s)" was two eggs at first and become one egg later.
Eggs, cheese, and lentil soups were the main protein sources on the trek.
Day 8 of my #EBC trekking today and finally reached the Base Camp.
Hiked 42 miles in the eight days. It's a moderate hike if you only consider the distance. Most days were only 4-5 hours of hiking with half day resting.
The actual challenge is the altitude. Every step can be a lot more difficult depending on how your body reacts to thin air. At the destination (EBC, 5360m), oxygen level is around 50% of sea level
