If you aren't on the mastodon.social instance: How did you choose the instance you are on? What do you like about it?
I'm overwhelmed by the options & realizing I'm not familiar enough with the platform to make an informed decision!
The 'ggplot2' package is excellent and flexible for elegant data visualization in R. However the default generated plots requires some formatting before we can send them for publication. Furthermore, to customize a 'ggplot', the syntax is opaque and this raises the level of difficulty for researchers with no advanced R programming skills. 'ggpubr' provides some easy-to-use functions for creating and customizing 'ggplot2'- based publication ready plots.

Decided to try out the #Tusky android app.
Pros: It's easy to see different feeds. Apparently can write private notes about people I follow (could be useful for keeping track of howI know a person).
Cons: TOOT! button annoys me more than it should. When I look at an account's following list, it doesn't tell me which of those accounts I follow. And I can't figure out how to follow hashtags.
Web version is still best, but this is better than the mastodon android app.

Say I was actually going to sit down and figure out how to switch instances tomorrow... which instance should I join for best paleoanthropology & anatomy nerding out? (Or at least good administration & few enough members to be faster than this one?)
