@hackaday i had a Zip drive, and later the bigger Jazz drive, both SCSI, for my "consumer" backups, sure.

@aprsfi not just aprs sites, but other ham, sci-fi clubs, museum sites, small businesses i host. They don't even glance at robots.txt, they use browser-like user-agents, and they hammer the living daylights out of the site with thousands or tens of thousands of requests per minute. My theory is "training AIs" but i cant prove it, could just be crawling for web forms they can spam, not sure. Not only alibaba, all sorts of cheap hosting providers. Everybody needs (D)DoS protection these days. 😢
